Welcome to Lean In UIUC
Lean In at the University of Illinois is part of the global nonprofit organization founded by Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg and empowers women and men to achieve their ambitions. Lean In impacts its members through small peer circles that meet regularly twice a month.
We strive to teach transferable skills that will be useful to graduates upon entering the working world. We reach women across campus through our active membership base, circle participants, guided workshops, professional events, and social activities. All students are encouraged to join our bi-weekly general circle meetings--known as Circle-- and additional developmental events hosted throughout the academic semester.
